Pacific NorthWest LNG hosts third and final Open House today in Prince Rupert

The latest in public updates from Pacific NorthWest LNG is taking place this week, as the energy company with plans for an LNG terminal for Lelu Island hosts the third of three events held across the Northwest, with tonight's session taking place from 4-7 PM this evening at the North Coast Convention Centre.

Over the previous two nights, Pacific Northwest has outlined the latest developments for  its proposed terminal, with information sessions in Terrace on Tuesday and Port Edward last night.

Those dropping in can learn more about the Terminal design, marine infrastructure, environmental assessment process and potential job opportunities related to the Terminal development should the parent company Petronas and its partners give the go ahead with a Final Investment Decision anticipated sometime in the first half of this year.

In the lead up to this weeks Open Houses, Pacific NorthWest delivered the latest in their home mailers to Northwest residents, offering up a snap shot of some of the material that will be available for review at the public sessions.

You can examine the pages of the mailer below, those who might have more questions on the project can find out more later this evening at the Convention Centre.
